The founding partners of KUNIVERSE Private Equity have advised a number of cross-border and domestic M&A and private equity partnering transactions in semiconductor and renewable industries. One of our industrial client has grown to the number one company in its front-end semiconductor equipment sector by partnering with our investor, CDIB, a renowned Taiwanese national investment firm. The head of the portfolio company of our investor later went over to PRC to establish now the largest foundry in the continent, SMIC. We originate and invest in situations where a partnership between Korean companies and foreign strategic or financial investors can substantially increase competitive advantage in the global market.
